NDIS Support Services

At Mindful Reactions, we offer therapeutic and community-based support for NDIS participants who are ready to build emotional resilience, strengthen life skills, and move toward greater independence and connection. We work with both self-managed and plan-managed participants, and we're in the process of preparing to support NDIA-managed participants in the near future.

How We Can Support You

We offer a flexible, person-centered approach that includes:

Counselling & Emotional Support

Helping participants manage anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, and emotional challenges.

What this can look like:

  • Weekly counselling to work through anxiety, past trauma, or grief

  • Supporting someone who feels isolated and wants to understand themselves better

  • Helping a participant build emotional regulation tools and confidence

  • Providing strategies for managing conflict, stress, or overwhelm

NDIS Code: 15_043_0128_1_3 – Counsellor

Life Skills & Personal Development

Coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help build essential life and social skills.

What this can look like:

  • Supporting a young adult to develop daily routines and motivation

  • Helping a participant plan and take steps toward personal goals

  • Practicing social interaction or emotional expression through role-play

  • Building independence by working on time management or organization

Job Readiness & Employment Support

Helping participants explore, prepare for, and move toward meaningful work or volunteering.

What this can look like:

  • Building confidence in interviews or social situations

  • Exploring career options and personal strengths

  • Setting realistic work-related goals and action steps

  • Emotional support for workplace anxiety, motivation, or transition stress

  • Practising communication and time management skills

  • Support returning to work or starting a volunteer role

Community Access & Social Participation

Supporting participants to engage in everyday community life.

What this can look like:

  • Going out for coffee while building confidence in public settings

  • Attending a local class, group, or event with support

  • Exploring interests like nature walks, art, or fitness with encouragement and conversation

  • Reducing social anxiety by practicing small steps in the community

NDIS Codes:

  • 04_104_0125_6_1 to 04_106_0125_6_1 – Community access (weekday, evening, weekend)

  • 04_210_0125_6_1 – Camps, entry fees, and similar activities (not price-limited)

Our NDIS Provider Status

Mindful Reactions is an unregistered NDIS provider, which means we can offer services to participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.

While we are not currently registered with the NDIS Commission, we operate with full transparency and professional integrity:

  • We hold valid NDIS Employer and Worker Clearances

  • We follow the NDIS Code of Conduct

  • We do not represent ourselves as a registered provider

  • We are preparing to support NDIA-managed participants in the future
